GP Associate Membership
GP associate Level 1 and 2 membership is currently open to all GPs who are either retired or practice outside the SEA–GP (Brisbane) boundaries. The primary purpose of membership is to enable these GPs to become and/or remain involved with the Alliance, to work towards improving primary health care outcomes in the region through improved linkages and communication between health care providers.
GP associate membership – Level 1 includes:
- Invitation to Alliance workshops and seminars
- Informal and formal special interest networks which provide opportunities to meet like-minded peers, and learn from experts and innovators who are leaders in their field
- One (1) free invitation (for 2 people) to the AGM Dinner (total value $200)
- Access to the Allied Health Referral Database
- Timely access to relevant information and opportunities being provided through Commonwealth Government health initiatives
- Access to the resource library
- Subscription to our regional newsletter, the SEAbreeze (6 issues per year), including a full event guide and feature articles outlining what's happening in the Alliance (total value $50)
- One (1) free ¼ page advertisement in the SEA–GP (Brisbane) Newsletter (total value $71.50)
- Personal membership fees are tax deductible for practicing GPs

GP associate membership – Level 2 includes:
- Subscription to our regional newsletter, the SEAbreeze (6 issues per year), including a full event guide and feature articles outlining what's happening in the Alliance (total value $50)
- Invitation to Alliance workshops and seminars at a nominal/cost recovery rate
- Access to the Allied Health Referral Database
- Personal Membership fees are tax deductible for practicing GPs
GP associate membership (Level 1 and 2) does NOT include:
- Eligibility to become a member of the Board
- Voting rights

How do I Join?
- Complete and post the application form together with your CV to the Membership Services Consultant, South East Alliance of General Practice (Brisbane), PO Box 235, Capalaba Qld 4157
- Fax your completed application form to (07) 3823 1408 with your attached CV.
- Join in person at SEA-GP (Brisbane). No appointment is necessary but please call the Alliance on (07) 3390 2466 and ask for directions.
- Email the completed electronic application form to the Membership Services Consultant.
The Membership Services Consultant will contact you after the Board has approved your application to request payment. Please make cheques payable to “The South East Alliance of General Practice (Brisbane) Ltd”.
